Extension

This impressive extension presented a number of technical challenges. Due to the presence of a large mature oak tree, the foundations were constructed using piled foundations with a reinforced concrete raft to protect the tree and provide a stable base. The extension features a traditional mansard roof, creating the appearance of a pitched roof while concealing a flat roof with a large roof lantern that fills the new living space with natural light.
